Muccio supply chain traceability
Our meat comes from our own supply chain, controlled from start to finish, to bring only the best of Sannio to your table. It is obtained from pigs born in our hills (or in our territories) and raised with care for their well-being, grown without the use of antibiotics and carefully selecting the nutrients for their growth. Our pigs spend their days freely, enjoying long moments of relaxation and play. Our farm follows their nature, without imposing growth and reproduction rhythms.

THE FARM
Since 1977, we have been dedicated to raising the black pig and the Casertana breed pig, an ancient indigenous breed of Sannio. We cultivate the land to ensure our animals a healthy, balanced and safe diet: the feed for our pigs does not contain GMOs, is produced in Italy, and has nothing in common with industrial feed productions! The pigs on our farms feed on barley, corn, wheat, black or white broad beans, acorns, pumpkins and potatoes; controlled and guaranteed products. Our pigs are not subjected to any antibiotic treatment! Fattoria Muccio's goal will always be to ensure the welfare of the animals and the quality of their lives, raising them in large and clean spaces, as much as possible in the open air.
